AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI'T'Y OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1853 --
Series 1965-66 in Reclassification No. 65-66-50 , re-
commending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipa Code
and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public
hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change
or changes of zone or zones, and after having received evidence
and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 21st day of
December , 19 65 , as the time, and the Counc--il Chamber in
the City Hall—of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 65R-955 and 67R-242 ,
finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the bound-
aries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said
resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 65R-955
and 67R-242 , certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes
of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
PARCEL 1:
The north half of the west half of the south half of the south-
west quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 16, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, being Lot 13 of Helen and Lynch's Sub-
division of the west half of Section 16, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, of the San Bernardino Meridian, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per map re-
corded in Book 442, page 158 of Deeds in the Office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California.
EXCEPT the easterly 426 feet thereof.
PARCEL 2:
e�Easterly 426 feet of the following described land:
The north half of the west half of the south half of the south-
west quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 16, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, being Lot 13 of Helen and Lynch's Sub-
division of the west half of Section 16, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, of the San Bernardino Meridian, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per map re-
corded in Book 442, page 158 of Deeds in the Office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and in-
corporated in the following zones, upon the conditions hereinafter
set forth:
That Parcel 1 above described shall be changed to and incor-
porated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE; and
That Parcel 2 above described shall be changed to and incorpo-
rated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
That said change of zones shall be made upon the following condi-
tions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the Office of the
Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets, prior to
final building inspection.
2. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit, to be
used for park and recreation purposes, said amount to be paid
at the time the building permit is issued.
3. That the air conditioning facilities located on
the C-1, General Commercial Zone property shall be properly
shielded from view from abutting streets, prior to final build-
ing inspection.

SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (13) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
