AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI'T'Y OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No.
P(766 -8j in Reclassification No. 66-67-21 , re-
commending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal—Code
and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public
hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change
or changes of zone or zones, and after having received evidence
and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the �1l1ltth _ day of
October , 19 66 , as the time, and the Council in
the City Hall—of tide C ty of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolutions) No. (s) 66R-664
finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the bound-
aries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said
resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 66R-664
certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes
of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the city of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of the
southeast quarter of Section 11, Township 4 South, Range
11 lest, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of
the County Recorder of said County.
EXCEPT that portion thereof, included within a strip of
land 110.00 feet wide lying 55.00 feet on each side of
the following described line: Beginning at the southeast
corner of said Section 11; thence along the east line of
said Section 11 (said east line being also the center line
of Stanton Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, as described by action
of the Loard of Supervisors of said county) North 00 11110"
test 612.23 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
westerly having a radius of 2527.00 feet; thence northerly
881.23 feet along said curve through a central angle of
190 58, 50".
ALSO EXCEPT that portion of said land conveyed to the State
of California, by deed recorded June 10, 1952, in look 2340,
page 453 of official Records.
ALSO EXCEPT the East 190.00 feet of the South 175.00 feet
thereof.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C -i, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
1. That all air conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view from abutting streets, prior to final
building inspection.
2. That the required interior landscaped areas shall
be planted with trees, and shall be serviced with irrigation
facilities and permanently maintained. Said plantings shall
be protected by either bumper stops or curbs.
SECTION 2.
The city Zoning nap shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Lap as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Nap showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The city clerk snail certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and he in full force.
