2355ORDINANCE NO. 2355 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18.08 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO SECTIONS 18.08.611, 18.08.612, 18.08.613 AND 18.08.614. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18, Chapter 18.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Sections 18.08.611, 18.08.612, 18.08.613 and 18.08.614, reading as follows: "SECTION 18.08.611 'RESTAURA.NT, ENCLOSED' "Any establishment which is engaged primarily in the business of preparing and serving meals, provided that the activity of preparing and serving said meals shall be conducted entirely within a building. The food preparation area for such a rest- aurant shall be an area permanently designed for food preparation and shall constitute not less than 25% of the gross floor area. 1°SECTION 18.08.612 'RESTAURANT, SEMI -ENCLOSED' 1°Any establishment which is engaged primarily in the business of preparing and serving meals, provided that the activity of preparing and serving said meals shall be conducted mainly with- in a building. The food preparation area for such a restaurant shall be an area permanently designed for food preparation and shall constitute not less than 25% of the gross floor area. "SECTION 18.08.613 'RESTAURANT, WALK-UP' "Any establishment which is engaged in the business of preparing and purveying food on a self-service basis where service to the consumer is by means of a window or opening to the outside of the building and the food may be consumed either inside or out- side the building. "SECTION 18.08.614 'RESTAURANT, DRIVE-IN' "Any establishment which is engaged in the business of preparing and purveying food where provision is made for serving and con- sumption of food to patrons in vehicles while they are on the premises." SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordi- nance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
