AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution(s)
No(s). 68R-455 determining that a change
or changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The Westerly 420.57 feet of the Easterly 429.57
feet of the Southerly 162.735 feet of the
Northerly 184.485 feet of Vineyard of Lots H-4
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 4 page 629 of Deeds in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California.
now is C-2, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE and R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated
in C-3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That sidewalks shall be installed along Water
Street, as required by the City Engineer and
in accordance with standard plans and specifi-
cations on file in the Office of the City
Engineer.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the
Office of the Director of Public Works and
Superintendent of Streets.
3. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view, and the sound
buffered from adjacent residential homes.

4. That the parking areas shall be lighted with
down -lighting of a maximum height of six (6)
feet, and said lighting shall be directed
away from the property lines to protect the
residential integrity of the area.
5. That subject property shall be developed in
accordance with City of Anaheim Site Develop-
ment Standards of the C-1, General Commercial
Zone.
6. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, above-
mentioned, shall be complied with prior to
final building and zoning inspections.
SECTION 2
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to -be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 6th day of November , 19 68.
