2590ORDINANCE NO. 2590 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution(s) No (s) . _,6,#R_ 12-7 ; determining that a change or changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly noticed hear- ings and receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes as follows: That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: That portion of Lot 3 of Helen and Lynch's Subdivision of a portion of the West one-half of Section 16, in Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City of Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 51, page 7, et seq., Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County and as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 442, page 158, Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point 324.46 feet West of the Northeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter, of said Section 16, and running thence South 661.49 feet to a point on the South line of said Northeast quarter 335.57 feet Easterly from the West line of said Northeast quarter, said point being the true point of beginning of the boundary of the land herein described; thence West along said South line 335.57 feet; thence North along said West line 300.00 feet; thence East parallel to said South line 135.80 feet to a point on the Southerly prolongation of the West line of the land de- scribed in that certain remorandum of lease recorded August 4, 1966, in book 8009, page 942, Official Records of said Orange County; thence North 72.92 feet to the Southwest corner of the land described in said memorandum of lease; thence East along the South line of the land described in said memorandum of lease and along the South -1- 67-68-80 line of the land described in a memorandum of lease recorded May 7, 1965, in Book 7512, page 702, Official Records of said Orange County, 200.00 feet to the East line of the land described in the deed to Paul H. Pletz and others recorded in book 4339, page 415 of Official Records of said Orange County; thence South along said East line 372.92 feet to the true point of beginning. now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE and C-3, HEAVY -COMMERCIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following condition: That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the building permit is issued. SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
