AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY. OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1463 IN
RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS NO.
59-60-63.
The City Council does find that:
WHEREAS, the City Council did on April 12, 1960
adopt Ordinance No. 1463 in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 59-60-63 changing the property and area therein described
from R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -
COMMERCIAL ZONE, subject to certain conditions set forth in
said Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 3 of said ordinance reads as
follows:
"3. That a minimum building setback line of
35 feet be maintained on Ball Road."
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that other properties
in the area in which subject property is located are restricted
to a minimum setback of 10 feet only, as required by the
Anaheim Municipal Code for property abutting an arterial
highway in a C-1 Zone, and that Condition No. 3 of Ordinance
No. 1463 should, therefore, be deleted.
NOW, THEREFORE, the. City Council of the City of
Anaheim does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1:
That Ordinance No. 1463 in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 59-60-63'be, and the same is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom Condition No. 3.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin
a newspaper of general circulation, printed,, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of August , 1968.
