AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 15, CHAPTER 15.16 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SECTION 15.16.090 THEREOF, AND BY
ADDING THERETO SECTION 15.16.370,
RELATING TO THE ELECTRICAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 15, Chapter 15.16, Section 15.16.090 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended
by amending the title of said section to read as follows:
"SECTION 15.16.090 OVERCURRENT PROTECTION."
SECTION 2.
That Title 15, Chapter 15.16 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto
Section 15.16.370 reading as follows:
"SECTION 15.16.370 EXPIRATION.
"Every permit issued by the Building Official under the
provisions of this Code shall expire by limitation and
become null and void, if the building or work authorized
by such permit is not commenced within 60 days from the
date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized
by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time
after the work is commenced for a period of 120 days.
Before such work can be recommenced a new permit shall
be first obtained to do so, and the fee therefor shall
be one-half the amount requiredfor a new permit for
such work, provided no changes have been made or will
be made in the original plans and specifications for
such work; and provided, further, that such suspension
or abandonment has not exceeded one year.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (1.5) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed.,:, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30). days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
me this 30th day of July, 1968.
