AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE
18 of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution(s)
No(s). 68R-167 determining that a change or
changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described
should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly noticed hear-
ings and receipt of the report and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes as
follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section
8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, City of Anaheim, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 51, page.10, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying Easterly of
a line described as follows:
Beginning at a 1-1/4 inch iron pipe, with Licensed Surveyor's
tag number L. S. 2477 set in concrete, said point being on
the North line of said Southwest quarter, distant North 890
43' 22" West, along said North line 660.07 feet from the
Northeast corner of said Southwest quarter; thence South
0° 00' 19" West 1314.26 feet to a 1-1/4 inch iron pipe,
tagged L. S. 2210, said pipe being distant North 890 36' 54"
West 661.03 feet from the Southeast corner of the Northeast
quarter, of the Southwest quarter of said Section 8.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying within
Tract No. 5053, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book
183, pages 34 to 38 inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County.
now is R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, upon the follow-
ing conditions:

1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance
with approved plans on file in°the Office of the Director
of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets, prior to
final building and zoning inspections.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the .Chief of the Fire
Department, said fire hydrants to be installed prior to
final building and zoning inspections.
3. That a six-foot masonry wall shall be constructed along
the south property line prior to final building and
zoning inspections.
4. That all air conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view, and the sound buffered from adjacent
residential homes, prior to final building and zoning
inspections.
5. That all external lighting on subject property shall be
directed downward and away from abutting property lines,
prior to final building and zoning inspections.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above .described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map tobe added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION .3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage .of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (1-5) days after its adoption, in the.Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
