AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE
18 of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution(s)
No (s) 68R-107 determining that a change or
changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described
should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly noticed hear-
ings and receipt of the report and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes as
follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The West 100.00 feet of the East 350.00 feet of the
South 500.00 feet of the southwest quarter of the
southwest quarter of Section 11, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
per map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said
County.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incor-
porated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following condi-
tions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance
with approved plans on file in the Office of the Director
of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets, prior to
final building and zoning inspections.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire
Department, said fire hydrants to be installed prior to
final building and zoning inspections.
3. That all air conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view and the sound buffered from adjacent
residential homes, prior to final building and zoning
inspections.

4. That all external lighting facilities shall be directed.
downward and away from abutting property lines prior to
final building and zoning inspections.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, -and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it .is now situated, and incorporated in and
made .a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City. Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (3.0) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2488 on the 5th day of March,
1968.
