AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING
THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM OF THE
TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS SUNKIST
ANNEXATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Anaheim did on the 12th day of
September, 1967, receive a written application signed by all of
the owners of land within the territory proposed to be annexed
to the'City of Anaheim. That said territory proposed to be
annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, and is contiguous to the City of
Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That said application
signed by all of the owners of land within the territory pro-
posed to be annexed contained a description of said territory
in words and figures as hereinafter in this ordinance described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex.
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the terri-
tory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commission
and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said annexa-
tion request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1
of the Government Code.
That on the 13th day of December, 1967, the Local
Agency Formation Commission duly adopted Resolution No. 67-77
in which said Commission authorized the City of Anaheim to annex
said territory in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code and further approved such annexation of said territory
without notice or hearing.
That the Local Agency Formation Commission further, by
resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of Anaheim
to annex said territory without notice or hearing by the City
Council and without the requirement that an election be held by
the City on the question of said annexation.
SECTION 2.
That the annexation of the territory included within
the boundaries of the herein described SUNKIST ANNEXATION, and
more particularly described as follows, to wit:

SUNKIST ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
That parcel of land, located in the County of Orange,
State of California, being a portion of the Southwest
quarter, and a portion of the Southeast quarter, of Section
13, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map re-
corded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City Limit line
of the City of Anaheim, as established by the Southeast
Annexation No. 2 to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordi-
nance No. 1402, October 13, 1959, filed with the Secretary
of State November 13, 1959 and recorded November 19, 1959 in
Official Records of Orange County, California, said point
of beginning being the Northwest corner of the Southeast
quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 13, said
point of beginning also being the Northeast corner of
Tract No. 2893, as shown on a Map recorded in Bookll6, pages
40 and 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California; thence
South 890 55' 40" East 1,301 feet, more or less, along
a portion of the existing City Limit line of the City of
Anaheim, being a portion of the Northerly line of the
Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section
13, to an intersection with a line parallel with and 20 feet
Westerly of the East line of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 13, said point of intersection being a point in the
existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim, as estab-
lished by the Wagner -Sunkist Annexation to the City of
Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 1616, September 5, 1961,
filed with the Secretary of State October 5, 1961 and re-
corded October 91 1961 in Official Records of Orange County,
California; thence
South 890 55' 40" East 671 feet, more or less, leaving
the existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim, as
established by the aforementioned Southeast Annexation No.
2 to the City of Anaheim and following along a portion of
the existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim, as
established by the last mentioned Wagner -Sunkist Annexa-
tion, being the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly line
of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of said
Section 13, and a portion of the Southerly line of the

REVISED=Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section
13, to an intersection with a line parallel w4.th and 26.35
feet Westerly of the East line of the West half of the West
half of the Southeast quarter of said Section 13; thence
South 0° 11' 20" West 628 feet, more or less, along the
last mentioned parallel line, being a portion of the last
mentioned existing City Limit line of the City of Anaheim,
to an intersection with the Southerly line of that certain
parcel of land described in deed recorded December 18, 1962
in Book 6365, page 211 of Official Records of Orange County,
California; thence
North 890 55' 40" West 671 feet, more or less, leaving
the said last mentioned existing City Limit line of the City
of Anaheim following along the Southerly line of the land
conveyed in the last mentioned deed and the Westerly pro-
longation thereof to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 20 feet Westerly of the Easterly line of the South-
west quarter of said Section 13; thence
South 00 11' 20" West 370 feet, more or less, along the
last mentioned parallel line to an intersection with the
Southerly line of the North 665 feet of the Southeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter of said Section 13; thence
North 890 55' 40" West 1,301 feet, more or less, along
a portion of the Southerly line of the North 665 feet of the
Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section
13, to an intersection with the Westerly line of the South-
east quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 13,
said Westerly line also being the Easterly line of Tract No.
2893, as shown on a Map recorded in Bookll6, pages 40 and 41
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
thence
North 00 11' 20" East 665 feet, more or less, along a
portion of the Westerly line of the Southeast quarter of the
Southwest quarter of said Section 13, also being the East-
erly line of said Tract No. 2893, to the point of beginning.

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and
incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, and is hereby designated as the SUNKIST ANNEXATION
to the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code and without notice and hearing by the City Council and
without the requirement that the City hold an election on the
question of annexation, all in accordance with the approval of
the Local Agency Formation Commission.
SECTION 3.
That from and after the effective date of this ordinance
and the filing of a certified copy thereof with the Secretary of
State of the State of California, the annexation of the territory
herein described shall be deemed to be and shall be complete and
thenceforth such annexed territory shall be, to all intents and
purposes, a part of the City of Anaheim, and from and after the
effective date of such annexation, all property therein shall be
subject to taxation equally with the property within the City of
Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay its proportionate share of
the existing indebtedness and liability of said City of Anaheim
contracted prior to or existing at the time of such annexation
pursuant to the written consent of the owners of property in said
annexed territory filed with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim
prior to the adoption of this ordinance.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage it shall be in full force and effect.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
