AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
M 41CIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Caffmission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No.
Series 1965-66 , in Reclassification No.65-66-3-18,
recommending denial of a change in the boon cries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change of
zone or zones,, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Conramission did make findings,
and a summary of its hearing, and did recommend denial of a change
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upan receipt of said.resclution, report of
findings, sum .ar°y of eviden e. and recormnendatlon of the City
Planning Gommiwsion,., the City Clergy did fix the L2th day of

hearing upon ,said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and
WITF'REAS at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all petsnns interested there -in an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the reco tendation of the City Planning Commission, and
did adopt Resolution(s) N`oo (S) R--4 , finding and
determining that. ' 'itle 18 of tine Anaheim Mun p ode should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said
zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);
and
GMEREAS, in accordance with said resolution(s), certain
conditions and requirements were grade as conditions precedent to
the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or, zones have been complied with;
NOW., THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION to
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning Map or Maps shoving such change or changes
as follows

That all of the area situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
The southerly 222.00 feet of the west half of the
southwest quarter of tile southwest quarter of the
southeast quarter of section 2, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de
Santa Ana, City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book
51, page 10 of Miscellaneous kviaps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to
C-1, GENERAL COi'PlERCIAL ZONE, upon the following condition:
That all air conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view from abutting streets.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from tile zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made apart of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Hap as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning hiap showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim 3ulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it sizall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by

duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held
on the 13th day of September, 1966, by the following vote of the

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of the

the 13th day of September, 1966.
