A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM REVISING CERTAIN POLICIES AND FEES TO BE
CHARGED FOR CITY-WIDE PARK AND RECREATION PROGRAMS
AND SERVICES, ESTABLISHING SEPTEMBER 1, 1991 AS
THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF AND RESCINDING CERTAIN
RESOLUTIONS ESTABLISHING PREVIOUS FEES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Anaheim has
heretofore adopted Resolution No. 79R-2 establishing policies and
fees for City-wide park and recreation programs and services; and
WHEREAS, the fees have been previously revised from
time to time; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
public interest and welfare to further revise said fees and
certain policies as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the user fees and charges hereinafter
established do not exceed the costs incurred by the City of
Anaheim in providing said facilities and services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that:
1. Section 6 of Resolution No. 79R-2, as amended by
Resolution No. 88R-258, is hereby amended to read as set forth in
Exhibit "A" (consisting of 11 pages) attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference.
2. The fees established herein as set forth in Exhibit
"A" shall be and hereby are adopted, effective September 1, 1991.
3. The fees established herein shall, upon becoming
effective, supersede any previously adopted fees for the same
purpose or service.
4. Resolutions Nos. 80R-127, 80R-185, 81R-174, 82R-
354, 83R-266, 84R-249, 85R-265, 86R-288, 87R-275, 89R-072 and
89R-249 are hereby rescinded effective immediately.
5. Resolutions Nos. 90R-200 and 91R-144 are hereby
rescinded effective September 1, 1991.
6. The City Council hereby declares that should any
one or more fees established by this Resolution or any portion of
this Resolution be declared for any reason to be invalid, it is
the intent of the City Council that it would have adopted all
other fees and portions of this Resolution independent of the
elimination therefrom of any such fee or such portion as may be
declared invalid.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9~h day of
July ,1991.
