AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT-.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1059 --
Series 1963-64 irra. Reclassification* No, 63-64-62 ' re-
commen ing an arRndment to Title 18 of th_e7A_n`aF_eimMunicipal Code
and a charge or charges in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described,, after having held a public
hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change
or changes of zone or zones, and after having received evidence
and reports from persons interested therein -7 and
WHEREAS:,. said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution-, and
WHEREAS, upon receipt cf said resr�lution, report of
findings, summary ci ev-1,dence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 24th day of
March19 64., as the time, and rhe Ccurs`ci1 C amber in
the City Ha: y of t.e City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon, said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner anLd as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anahei� Municipal Code,- and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution(s) Noiy"s) 64R-200 and 65R-465 ,

aries of said. zo ,i, or zones should be made as set forth in said
resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 64R-200
and 65R-465_ , certain conditions and requirements were
made as con tions precedent to the making of a change or changes
of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the
property hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE,; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS-.
SECTION to
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows..

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit•
PARCEL 1:
Lot 5 oF Tract No. 787, as shown on a map thereof, recorded
in Book 24, Page 9, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County.
PARCEL 2:
That portion of Lot 4 in Block A of Tract No. 787, as shown
on a map thereof, recorded in Book 24, Page 9, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, lying between the
Easterly extensions of the North and South lines of Lot 5
of said Tract No. 787, across said Lot 4 to the Easterly
line of said lot.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit, to be
used for park and recreation purposes, said amount to be paid
at the time the building permit is issued.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the Office of the
Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets, prior
to final building inspection.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Depart-
ment, said fire hydrants to be installed prior to final building
inspection; and that a water flow shall be provided which is
determined by the Chief of the Fire Department to be sufficient
for adequate fire protection.
4. That plans for the development of subject property
shall be submitted to the Development Review Board for report
and recommendation to the City Planning Commission and City
Council, and that said plans shall be subject to the approval
of the Commission and Council; provided, however, that said
plans shall be limited to a density not exceeding 18 dwelling
units per net residential acre, and shall be limited to one-
story construction within 150 feet of any property classified
R-1, One -Family Residential Zone.
5. That any buildings presently located on subject
property shall be removed prior to the development of the
property for R-3 uses.

SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
a amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
