AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1673 --
Series 1964-65 in Reclassification No. 64-65-133 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Munk pa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Clerk did fix the 20th day of
Jul , 19 6� , as the time, and the Coun-ET=amber in
the amity Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 65R-548 ,
finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim n c pa
Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the
boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in
said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 65R-548
, certain conditions and requirements were made
as con t ons precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
The North 679.46 feet of the East half of the Northeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of Section 14, in Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, in the City of Ana-
heim, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 51, page 11,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 40.00 feet of the North
679.46 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter
of said Section 14, in Township 4 South, Range 11 West, and
that portion of said North 679.46 feet, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Westerly line of the said Easterly
40.00 feet of the North 679.46 feet, distant 40.00 feet South-
erly from the Northwest corner thereof; thence along said
Westerly line Northerly, a distance of 40.00 feet to the North
line of said North 679.46 feet; thence along said North line,
Westerly 20.00 feet to a line parallel with and distant 20.00
feet Westerly, measured at right angles, from said Westerly
line; thence along said parallel line, Southerly a distance
of 20.00 feet; thence in a direct line Southeasterly to said
point of beginning, as granted to the state of California by
deed recorded February 23, 1951, in Book 2149, page 68,
Official Records.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and in-
corporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the Office of the
Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets, prior to
final building inspection.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department,
said fire hydrants to be installed prior to final building
inspection.
3. That all air conditioning facilities shall be prop-
erly shielded from view from abutting streets, prior to final
building inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.

SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
