AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18.08, SECTION
18.08.390 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE,
RELATING TO HOME OCCUPATIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18, Chapter 18.08, Section 18.08.390
of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 18.08.390 HOME OCCUPATIONS.
"An occupation carried on in the dwelling by the occupant
of the dwelling as a secondary use in connection with which
there is no display at or upon the premises, no commodity
nor service sold at or upon the premises and no person
employed. Such home occupation shall not create noise,
odor, dust, vibration, fumes or smoke readily discernible
at the exterior boundaries of the parcel on which situated,
nor create any electrical disturbance adversely affecting
the operation of any equipment located in any other
dwelling unit or on property not owned by the person
conducting said home occupation.
"Prior to the issuance of a business license under this
section, in all cases the application shall be submitted
immediately to the Development Services Department for the
purpose of determining whether or not the business is in
conformance with the foregoing definition. Anyone not
satisfied with the Development Services Department's
determination has the right of appeal to the City Council."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
me this 15th day of March, 1966.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim held on the 23rd day of February, 1966, and that the
same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 15th day of March,` 1966, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Pebley, Schutte, Chandler and Krein
NOES: COUNCILMEN; None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim ,approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2256 on the 15th day
of March, 1966.
