2254ORDINANCE NO. 2254 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND- ING THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 7.16.120, SECTION 4.52.090, SECTION 14.32.340, AND SECTION 14.32.350, AND BY AMENDING SECTION 14.32.190. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 7, Chapter 7.16 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 7.16.120 reading as follows: "SECTION 7.16.120 POSSESSION OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR -- PLACES RESTRICTED. "It shall be unlawful for any person to bring, carry, trans- port into or possess any intoxicating liquor in a container made of metal, glass or other similar substance within any stadium owned or operated by the City of Anaheim; provided, however, that this provision shall not apply to any conces- sionaire lawfully doing business in any such stadium or any intoxicating beverages obtained from such concessionaire. "'Intoxicating Liquor' is defined as any liquor defined by the Liquor Control Act of the State of California as intoxi- cating." SECTION 2. That Title 4, Chapter 4.52 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 4.52.090 reading as follows: "SECTION 4.52.090 PEDDLERS AND SOLICITORS -- NO SOLICITING IN STADIUM. "It shall be unlawful for any person enumerated in Section 4.52.070 to peddle or solicit in or upon the grounds of any stadium owned or operated by the City of Anaheim; provided, however, that this section does not apply to any person who has obtained written consent of the City of Anaheim to so peddle or solicit." SECTION 3. That Title 14, Chapter 14.32 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 14.32.340 reading as follows: "SECTION 14.32.340 PROHIBITION OF PARKING IN STADIUM -- WHERE POSTED. "It shall be unlawful to park or leave parked any vehicle on the grounds of any stadium owned or operated by the City of Anaheim provided that signs have been erected giving notice thereof.' -1- SECTION 4. That Title 14, Chapter 14.32 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 14.32.350 reading as follows: "SECTION 14.32.350 NO PARKING -- STADIUM EVENT -- STREETS DESIGNATED. "It shall be unlawful to park or leave parked any vehicle on the following designated streets at such times as said streets have been posted with ' No Parking' signs. The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to post and maintain along said streets appropriate signs reading 'No Parking -- Tow Away zone,' at such times as are necessary, in his opinion, to maintain traffic flow and control in connection with stadium events: 1. State College Boulevard, on the west side, from 660 feet south of Ball Road to the South City limits. 2. State College Boulevard, on the east side, from Ball Road to the South City limits. 3. Katella Avenue, on both sides, from the East City limits to the Santa Ana Freeway. 4. Orangewood Avenue, on both sides, from the East City limits to Anaheim Boulevard. 5. Anaheim Boulevard, on the east side, from Orangewood Avenue to 250 feet south of Cerritos Avenue." SECTION 5. That Title 14, Chapter 14.32, Section 14.32.190 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Paragraphs 44, 45, 46, 47 and 48 reading as follows: 1144. State College Boulevard, on the east side, from 660 feet south of Wagner Street to 660 feet north of Wagner Street. "45. State College Boulevard, on the east side, from 660 feet south of South Street to South Street. "46. State College Boulevard, on the west side, from 660 feet south of Ball Road to 60 feet north of Wagner Street extended. "47. Katella Way, on both sides, from Anaheim Boulevard to Katella Avenue. "48. Manchester Avenue, on both sides, from the Katella Off - ramp to Katella Way. SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force. -2- THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me this 1st day of March 19 66 MAYOR.OF THE CITY OF NAHEIM ATTEST: CITY--- CLERK OF THE CITY OFNt�AHEIM STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF ORANGE ) ss.
