AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 14, CHAPTER 14.56 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING
THERETO SECTIONS 14.56.050, 14.56.060,
14.56.070 AND 14.56.080, RELATING TO
CONTROL OF TRAFFIC TURNING MOVEMENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 14, Chapter 14.56 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following sections, reading as follows:
"SECTION 14.56.050 DECLARATION - INTERSECTION WHERE
LEFT TURN MAY BE PROHIBITED.
"The intersection listed below in Section 14.56.080 is
hereby declared to be an intersection at which drivers
of vehicles shall not make a left turn when a sign is
posted giving notice of such restriction as hereinafter
provided.
"SECTION 14.56.060 - AUTHORITY TO POST SIGNS.
"The City Traffic Engineer, with approval of the Chief of
Police, is authorized to place and maintain, or cause to
be placed and maintained, appropriate signs giving effect
to Section 14.56.050 where the City Traffic Engineer
determines that the making of such turns would seriously
interfere with the safe and orderly flow of traffic at
the intersection listed in Section 14.56.080.
"SECTION 14.56.070 - SIGNS TO CONFORM TO CALIFORNIA
VEHICLE CODE SPECIFICATIONS.
"Any signs placed pursuant to Section 14.56.060 shall
conform to the provisions of the California Vehicle Code
governing traffic signs.
"SECTION 14.56.080- LEFT TURN PROHIBITED - INTER-
SECTION DESIGNATED.
"Intersection where left turns are prohibited when posted
as provided in Section 14.56.060 is listed as follows:
(l) Ball Road and Palm Street"

SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
me this 5th day of August 1969.

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Schutte
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2710 on the 5th day of August, 1969.
