AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 3.40 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTION 3.40.070
THERETO, RELATING TO PRODUCERS OF SHOWS,
EVENTS, PRODUCTIONS OR EXHIBITS AND THE
OPERATORS OF BOOTHS OR EXHIBITS THEREIN,
AND ESTABLISHING THE LICENSING FEES
THEREFOR.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 3, Chapter 3.40 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto
Section 3.40.070, reading as follows:
"SECTION 3.40.070 LICENSING OF PRODUCTIONS OR SHOWS
AND BOOTHS AND EXHIBITS THEREIN.
"Every person, partnership, cooperative, or cor-
poration who shall function as a producer or
promoter of an event, production, show or exhibit
in this City shall pay a daily license fee of
$1.00 per booth or exhibit maintained in said
event, production, show or exhibit. Said license
fee is hereby imposed on the producer or promoter
regardless of who shall operate or maintain said
booth or sell goods or services. Said tax shall
be payable at the opening of the event, produc-
tion, show or exhibit; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that
said license fee is imposed upon only such booths
or exhibits wherein the sales of goods or mer-
chandise are made."
SECTION 2
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of May 1969.

adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 13th
day of May, 1969, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Krein, Schutte, and Clark
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Pebley
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2679 on the 13th day of May,
1969.
