91-339 RESOLUTION NO. 91R- 339 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~EIM APPROVING A ~TTER OF UNDERST~DING BETWEEN THE ~EIM ~NICIPAL EMP~YEES ASSOCIATION, GENE~L EMP~YEES ~D THE CITY OF ~EIM. ~E~AS, on February 26, 1991 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 91R-49 approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Employees; and ~EREAS, the ~bor Relations Director met and conferred with officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Employees, to discuss specific concerns relative to amending Article 43 of said Memorandum of Understanding; and MEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated Dece~er 2, 1991, between the parties has been prepared and signed amending Article 43 of the current Memorandum of Understanding, said amendment to be effective Dece~er 6, 1991; and ~E~AS, the City Council of the city of Anaheim does find that it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to approve said ~tter of Understanding. NOW, THE~FO~, BE IT ~SOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the ~tter of Understanding dated Dece~er 2, 1991, between the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Employees, and the City of Anaheim copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, are approved and said Memorandum of Understanding is hereby amended in accordance with the teas of said Letter of Understanding. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 17th day of December , 1991. CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF AN~IEIM LETTER OF UNDEI~STANDING between the CITY OF AN~RIM and the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION GENERAL EMPLOYEES UNIT The City of ANAHEIM, and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, (AMEA) after meeting and conferring, have reached an understanding to revise Article 43, Call-Out, to add Article 43.21 and 43.22, as follows: ARTICLE 43 CALL-OUT 43.21 A Maintenance Department employee assigned to standby duty shall be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours (including travel time) of pay at the rate of one and one-half times the employeets regular rate of pay for each emergency call-out. 43.22 The two (2) hour minimum call-out provision for Maintenance Department employees is effective December 6, 1991 and shall continue for a minimum of twenty-six (26) complete bi-weekly pay periods. After twenty-six (26} complete hi-weekly pay periods, the two (2) hour minimum call-out provision for Maintenance Department employees may be revoked by AMEA upon written notice to ANAHEIM.
