3084ORDINANCE NO. 3084 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REPEALING SECTIONS 17.06.110(c) and 17.06.120(g) OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE AND AMENDING TITLE 17, CHAPTER 17.06 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO NEW SECTIONS 17.06.110(0) AND 17.06.120(g). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Sections 17.06.110(c) and 17.06.120(g) of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 2. That Title 17, Chapter 17.06 be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto new sections 17.06.110(c) and 17.06.120(g) reading as follows: "Section 17.06.110 (c) TERRACING. Cut slopes exceeding twenty-five (25) feet in vertical height shall be terraced at approxi- mately mid -height or at twenty-five (25) foot intervals maximum. Terraces shall be not less than six (6) feet wide, shall be constructed with impermeable materials which shall include indigenous stone and/or paving, using medium or dark earthen tones (black, tan, sienna, umber, ochre, green), and shall carry water to a safe disposal area as approved by the City Engineer. "Section 17.06.120 (g) TERRACES. Fill slopes exceeding twenty-five (25) feet in vertical height shall be terraced at approxi- mately mid -height or at twenty-five (2.5) foot intervals maximum. Terraces are to be not less than six (6) feet wide, shall be constructed with impermeable materials which shall include indigenous stone and/or paving, using medium or dark earthen tones (black, tan, sienna, umber, ochre, green), and shall carry water to a safe disposal area as approved by the City Engineer." SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY. The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this chapter of the Code hereby adopted be declared for any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed all other portions of this chapter indepen- dent of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circu- lated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force. -1- THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me this 10th day of October , 19 72.
