AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEI'v:i RESCIND-
ING SECTION 18.26.050 (3) OF THE ANAHEIM MUT'I-
CIPAL CODE RELATI3G TO ZONING AND ADDI''3G A
NEW SECTION 18.26.050 (3) IN ITS PLACE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEI' DOES ORDAII
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18, Chapter 18.26, Section 18.26.050(3)
relating to zoning is hereby rescinded.
SECTION 2.
That Title 18, Chapter 18.26, Section 18.26.050(3)
of the Anaheim Municipal Code is hereby added to react as follows:
"18.26.050(3) COVERAGE AND LOT ARETk REQUIR -74E dTS
The-niaximum coverage by all residential and accessory
buildings shall be thirty five (35) percent of the lot
area for dwelling units with three (3) bedrooms or less
and with two (2) parking spaces in a garage.
Swimming pools and semi -enclosed patio structures shall
not be considered as structures in ascertaining coverage.
The lot area requirements shall be increased, eialit
hundred and fifty (350) scuare feet for each additional
bedroom. (All rooms other than a livi_ a roora, dining
room, or family room, kitchen, bathrooms and closets
shall be considered bedrooms.) Maximum coverage shall
remain thirty-five (35) percent of the lot area."
SECTION 3.
SEVEF.ABILITY. The City Council of the City of Anaheim
hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence or
word of this chapter of the Code hereby adopted be declared for
any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that
it would have passed all other portions of this chapter independent
of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared
invalid.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim, Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circu-
lated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
