ORDINANCE NO, 3036
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 14, CHAPTER 14.32 BY RESCINDING CERTAIN
SECTIONS OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO PARKING DURING SCHOOL HOURS AND ADDING
SECTION 14.32.272 IN THEIR PLACE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Title 14, Chapter 14,32 relating to Parking During
School Hours is hereby amended by rescinding the following sections
of the Anaheim Municipal Code,

14,32.238
14,32.247

SECTION 2.
That Title 14, Chapter 14.32, Section 14.32,272 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code is hereby added to read as follows:
"14.32.272 PARKING DURING SCHOOL HOURS RESTRICTED,
It is unlawful for any person to park or leave parked
any vehicle within the areas designated on the streets
listed herein during school hours, The Chief of Police is
authorized and directed to erect and maintain along said
streets appropriate signs reading "NO PARKING DURING SCHOOL
HOURS."
(b) Broadway, north side, from the east property line
to the west property line of the Abraham Lincoln
Elementary School.
(c) Cerritos Avenue, north side, from Euclid Street to
the west property line of the Loara High School.
Chaucer Street, both sides, from 175 feet north of
Wagner Avenue to Wagner Avenue.
Citron Street, both sides, Lincoln Avenue to Broadway,
west side from 150 feet north of Cypress Street to
Lincoln Avenue.
Cypress Street, both sides, from the easterly termi-
nation east of West Street to West Street.
(g) Gilbert Street, east side, from the north property
line to the south property line of the Melbourne
Gauer Elementary School, and, west side, from the

north property line to the south property line of
the Savanna High School.
(i) IllinoisStreet, both sides, from the first alley
north of. Lincoln ,Avenue to Lincoln Avenue.
(m) Midway Drive, north side, from the east property
1ne to the west property line of the Paul Revere
Elementary School.
(o) Oran a Avenue, north side, from Western Avenue to
00 feet west of Western Avenue and south side,
from 500 feet west of Western Avenue to 1300 feet
west of Western Avenue.
(r) Romne a Drive, north side, from the east property
line to the west property line of the Sycamore Junior
High School.
(w) Wagner Avenue, north side, from Chaucer Street to
et west of Chaucer Street, and, south sidef.
from the east property line to the west property
line of Katella High School.
Walnut Street, west side, from the north property
line to the south property line of Betsy Ross
Elementary School.
Western Avenue, west side from 550 feet north of
Orange Avenue to Orange Avenue.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of May , 1972 .
