AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MU14ICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THAT: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THL CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FII4D
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
140. 71R-239 determining that a change
or c a� nges nye zone or zones ereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The Easterly 440.00 feet of the South 140 feet of the
East one-half of the Northeast quarter of the South-
east quarter of Section 14, in Township 4 South, Range
11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, in the City of
Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 51,
page 7. et seq., Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 40 feet of said land,
as conveyed to the State of California by deed recorded
March 5, 1951, in book 2153, _page 254, Official Records,
and by deed recorded March 1, 1951, in book 2151, page
460, Official Records.
now is the R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE and that it be
changed to and incorporated in the C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE,
subject to the following conditions:

1. That sidewalks shall be installed along Beach
Boulevard as required by the City Engineer and
in accordance with standard plans and specifi-
cations on file in the office of the City Engineer.
2, That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file with the
office of the Director of Public Works,
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of
the Fire Department,
4. That subject property shall be served by under-
ground utilities.
5. That any exterior lighting proposed on subject
property shall be directed downward and away from
the property lines to protect the residential
integrity of the area.
6. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, above men-
tioned, shall be complied with prior to final
building and zoning inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Pap showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circu-
lated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
