AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 72R-21 determining that a change or
changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and des-
cribed should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Beginning at common corner to Sections 3, 4, 9 and 10,
Township 4 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. & M.; running
thence North 0° 36' 45" West along Section line 708.5
feet to a point in the center of Riverside Road as
paved by Orange County Highway Commission; thence
North 660 16' East along the center of said road 475.68
feet; thence North 231 27' West 1070.20 feet to an old
gas pipe; thence North 350 50' East alone a line of gum
stumps 332.60 feet to a point; thence North 80 53' West
along line of old fence 446.80 feet; thence North 72°
47' East 286.65 feet to the point of beginning of pro-
perty hereinafter described; running thence North 16°
33' West 119.8 feet; thence North 80° 26' East 645.6
feet; thence North 11° 28' West 426.7 feet; thence
South 00 22' East 749.25 feet to a 2-1/2 inch iron pipe;
thence South 77° 08' West 1126.7 feet; and thence North
180 24' West 256.65 feet to the point of beginning.
Except the East 449 feet thereof said 449 feet being
measured along the Southerly line of hereinbefore des-
cribed tract and the Westerly line of said Easterly 449
feet being parallel with the Easterly line of said tract.

now is R -A (SC), AGRICULTURAL (Scenic Corridor) ZONE, and that
it be changed to and incorporated in the C-1 (SC), GENERAL
COMMERCIAL (Scenic Corridor) ZONE, subject to the following con-
ditions and further subject to the stipulation that the hours of
operation of the service station be from 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.,
and the shopping center be constructed at the same time as the
service station:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accord-
ance with approved plans on file with the office of the Director_
of Public Works.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department.
3. That all air conditioning facilities shall be prop-
erly shielded from view, and the sound buffered from adjacent
properties.
4. That subject property shall be served by underground
utilities.
5. That drainage of subject property shall be provided
in a manner satisfactory to the City Engineer.
6. That subject property shall be developed substanti-
ally in accordance with plans and specifications on file with
the City of Anaheim marked Exhibit Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
7. That Condition Nos. 1, 2, 3. 4, 5 and 6, above
mentioned, shall be complied with prior to final building and
zoning inspections.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Encri:neer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning maxi to be added
to the City Zoning Man showing the changes hereby annroved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be or_inted once within.
fifteen (15) days after_ its adon-L ion, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, Printed, published and circu-
lated in said City, and thirty (30) days fron and after its final
passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is anproved and signed by me
