-. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 3, CHAPTER 3.36 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 3.36.015 RELATING
TO LICENSE FEES AND PROVIDING A DEFINITION FOR
BULK VENDING MACHINES.
FOLLOWS:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Title 3, Chapter 3.36 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section
3.36.015 to read as follows:
"3.36.015 LICENSE FEES -- BULK VENDING MACHINES
A bulk vending machine is defined as a non -electrically
operated vending machine, containing unsorted confec-
tions, nuts or merchandise which, upon insertion of a
coin, dispenses the same in equal portions, at random
and without selection by the customer.
Every person conducting, managing, operating or main-
taining any bulk. vending machine or device not other-
wise licensed under this chapter shall pay an annual
license fee of three (3) dollars for each stand or
console of not to exceed eight units."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circu-
lated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 2nd day of May , 1972 .
