AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 2940 RELATING TO AN
ADMISSIONS TAX.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIf-1 DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
this ordinance to be an emergency ordinance for the following
reason:
That it would be in the best financial interests of
residents and visitors of the City of Anaheim that
the effective date of Ordinance No. 2940 of the City
of Anaheim be delayed to March 1, 1972.
SECTION 2.
That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2940 of the Citv of
Anaheim be amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 2.
The provisions of this chapter shall take effect on the
1st day of March, 1972."
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption,, in the Anaheim Bulletin;
a newsapaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
