91-298 RESOLUTION NO. 91R - 298 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF AHAHEIMAHD THE ANAHEIM POLICE ASSOCIATION. WHEREAS, on June 28, 1989, the City council adopted Resolution No. 89R-281 approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Police Association; and WHEREAS, the Labor Relations Director met and conferred with officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim Police Association to discuss specific concerns relative to amending Article 47 of said memorandum of Understanding; and WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated September 23, 1991, between the parties has been prepared and signed amending Article 47 of the current Memorandum of Understanding, said amendment to be effective September 27, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is in the best interests of the city of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated September 23, ~991, between the city of Anaheim and the Anaheim Police Association, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, are approved and said Memorandum of Understanding is hereby amended in accordance with the terms of said Letter of Understanding.
