93-037 RESOLUTION NO. 95R-37
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC
WORKS TO SIGN LETTERS OF SUPPORT FOR
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT(S) WHICH BENEFIT THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND WHICH ARE SUBMITTED BY OTHER
LEAD AGENCIES TO THE ORANGE COUNTY
TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING UNDER
THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires implementation of
transportation improvements which are largely within adjacent
jurisdictions but which benefit the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has been declared by the
Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility
requirements to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; and
WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent
with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority
intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects
within the incorporated cities and the County;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and
directed to sign and send letters of support for transportation
improvement projects which benefit the City of Anaheim and which
are submitted by other lead agencies to the Orange County
Transportation Authority for funding under the Combined
Transportation Funding Program.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of March ,
1993.
