93-007 RESOLUTION NO. 93R-7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM EXTENDING
THE PERIOD OF ELIGIBILITY FOR
SEVERANCE PAY
WHEREAS, The city Council, on April 16, 1991, approved
and adopted Resolution No. 91R-112, providing for severance
benefits for employees subject to layoffs; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 92R-16 extended such severance
benefits; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 92R-16 expired under its terms on
December 31, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the conditions which prompted the adoption of
Resolution No. 92R-16 continue to exist; and
WHEREAS, the best interests of the City continue to be
served by providing severance benefits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
1. Section 3(d) of Resolution No. 91R-112 allowing sick
leave credit for severance entitlement is hereby rescinded
effective as of January 1, 1993.
2. All other provisions of Resolution 91R-112 are hereby
extended for the additional period commencing January 1, 1993 and
expiring on December 31, 1993.
3. Eligibility for the pay and benefits authorized under
this Resolution shall terminate on December 31, 1993 unless
extended by the City Council;
4. The City Council reserves the right at its sole
discretion to terminate this program at any time.

City Council of the city of Anaheim this 5th day of January
1993.
