93-223 RESOLUTION NO. 93R-223
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
THE DAYS AND TIMES OF REGULAR
MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, subsection .010 of Section 1.12.010 of Chapter
1.12 of Title 1 of the Anaheim Municipal Code authorizes and
requires the City Council to establish the days and times of
regular meetings of the City Council by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish the days
and times of regular meetings of the City Council by the adoption
of this resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
"Regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on
Tuesday of each week; provided that, in the event any
Tuesday shall fall upon an authorized City holiday or
upon any day appointed by the President of the United
States or by the Governor of the State of California
for a public feast, thanksgiving or holiday, then such
regular meeting of the City Council shall be held on
the next succeeding day which is not a holiday; and
further provided that any fifth Tuesday of any calendar
month and any Tuesday immediately following any Monday
which is an authorized City holiday shall not be
regular meeting dates. Regular meetings of the City
Council shall be scheduled to commence at 3:00 p.m."
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall take effect on January 1, 1994.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
city Council of the City of Anaheim this 16th day of
November , 1993.
