A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING FEES REI~ITING TO SEX-
ORIENTED BUSINESSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Anaheim has
adopted Chapter 18.89 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
regulation of Sex-Oriented Businesses; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 18.89 provides that certain fees may
be established by resolution of the City Council for processing
applications for permits, renewals and amortization extensions
relating to Sex-Oriented Businesses; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to
establish such fees; and
WHEREAS, the fees and charges hereinafter established
do not exceed the estimated reasonable costs of providing the
service for which the fee is charged; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore complied
with applicable requirements of California Government Code
Section 66018 concerning adoption of fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that fees to be charged by the License
Collector in connection with Sex-Oriented Businesses shall be as
follows:
A. Sex-Oriented Business
Permit Application $500.00
B. Sex-Oriented Business
Permit Renewal $500.00
C. Amortization Period
Extension $840.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that effective date of the fees
set forth herein shall be November 5, 1993.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the city of Anaheim this 26th day of
October , 1993.
