RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TItE CITY OF ANAHEIM
CONSENTING TO AND CALLING FOR JOINT PUBLIC HEARINGS ON TI[tE
PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR TItE BROOKItURST
COMMERCIAL CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND TItE
COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Community Redevelopment Commission has prepared and
will submit to the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Anaheim
proposed Redevelopment Plans for the Brookhurst Commercial Corridor Redevelopment
Project and the Commercial/Industrial Redevelopment Project ("Projects"), accompanied by the
Commissioffs Reports to the City Council and Rules Governing Participation and Preferences
by Property Owners and Business Occupants; and
WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health
and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) authorizes joint public hearings on the proposed
Redevelopment Plans with the consent of the Commission, the Agency and the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. The City Council hereby consenls to, and, calls for joint public hearings of the
Commission, the Agency and the City Council in the Council Chambers to consider and act
upon the proposed Redevelopment Plans and all documents and evidence pertaining thereto.
The times and dates of such joint public hearings shall be determined by the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim.
2. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall, in cooperation with the Director of
Community Development, prepare, publish and mail such notices and documents and do all
other acts as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this resolution;
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED on this 26th day of October, 1993.
