93-199 RESOLUTION NO. 93R-199
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DELEGATING TO
THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
AUTHORITY TO APPROVE AND EXECUTE
NOTICES OF COMPLETION FOR PUBLIC
WORKS.
WHEREAS, a Notice of Completion is required to be
executed on behalf of the City upon completion of any Public
Works project; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has the
knowledge, skill and experience needed for approval and execution
of Notices of Completion on behalf of the City; and
WHEREAS, delegation of the duty to approve and execute
Notices of Completion to the Director of Public Works would
eliminate unnecessary paperwork on the part of the staff of the
Public Works Department and would streamline the agenda for
meetings of the City Council and, therefore, is in the public
interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Director of Public Works is hereby
authorized and directed to approve and execute Notices of
Completion on behalf of the City as appropriate upon completion
of public works projects and to convey such Notices of Completion
to the City Clerk for recordation.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of October ,
1993.
