93-073 RESOLUTION NO. 93R - 73
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING THE
MASTER PLAN FOR SEWERS AS IT
PERTAINS TO THE SOUTH CENTRAL AREA
OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the existing sewer lines for various portions
of the City have been in existence for as long as fifty years and
more; and
WHEREAS, the existing sewer infrastructure is antiquated and
inadequate to handle existing and future capacities expected to
be generated by the land uses permitted on the City General Plan;
and
WHEREAS, changes in land use and revised sewer design
parameters make it necessary to develop long and short-range
plans for the City sewer system; and
WHEREAS, as a portion of the review and updating of the city
sewer system, studies have been undertaken and prepared and
presented to the City Council for the "South Central Area" of
Anaheim, which area is generally bounded by Lincoln Avenue, State
College Boulevard, the south City limits and Ninth Street; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to adopt the
South Central Area Sewer Deficiency Study, dated January of 1993,
on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
does hereby adopt the South Central Area Sewer Deficiency Study.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of May
1993.
