93-05511009-71 ~dHW:BDQ:rhc 03/30/93 CITY OF ANAHEIM RESOLUTION NO. 93R- 55 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 93R-51 ADOPTED ON MARCH 23, 1993, PROVIDING FOR THE BORROWING OF FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992/1993 AND THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF 1993 TAXABLE NOTES THEREFOR RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Anahe'n'n (the "City"), as follows: WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 7.6 (commencing with section 53850) of Chapter 4 of Part 1 of Division 2 of Title 5 of the California Government Code (the "Law"), this City Council (the "Council") has found and determined that moneys are needed for the requirements of the City, a municipal corporation and chartered city duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, to satisfy obligations payable from the general fund of the City (the "General Fund"), and that it is necessary that said sum be borrowed for such purpose at this time by the issuance of temporary notes therefor in anticipation of the receipt of taxes, revenue and other moneys to be received by the City for the General Fund during or allocable to the fiscal year of the City beginning July 1, 1992, and ending June 30, 1993; WHEREAS, this City Council did, on March 23, 1993, adopt Resolution No. 93R-51 (the "original Resolution"), which authorized the issuance of sixty million dollars ($60,000,000) principal amount of temporary notes under the Law, designated "City of Anaheim (Orange County, Califomia) 1993 Taxable Notes" (the "Notes"); and WHEREAS, it has been determined to be desirable and appropriate to increase the authorized principal amount of Notes to $66,000,000 from $60,000,000; NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby DETERMI2qED and ORDERED as follows: Section 1. Amendment of Original Resolution. The principal amount of Notes authorized to be issued pursuant to the Original Resolution is hereby increased to sixty-six million dollars ($66,000,000). All references in the Original Resolution to the principal amount of $60,000,000 is hereby changed to $66,000,000. Section 2. All Other Provisions of the Original Resolution Unchanged. Except as set forth in Section 1 above, all other provisions of the Original Resolution are unchanged and remain in full force and effect. Section 3. Official Action. The Mayor, the City Manager, the Finance Director, the Assistant Finance Director, the City Treasurer and the City Clerk, or any of them, are further authorized and directed to make, execute and deliver such certificates, agreements and other closing documents as are necessary to consummate the transactions contemplated by this Resolution.
