A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A LEI-rER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, GENERAL UNIT,
AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Assistant Labor Relations Director met and conferred with
officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim Munlclpal Employees Association,
General Unit, on the effects of certain classifications malntalnlng their Maintenance
Department seniority date for purposes of lay-off and reassignment; and
WHEREAS, this resolution applies to employees In the following job
classifications:
Lead Facility Maintenance Worker
Skilled Craffs Worker; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the meetings, a Letter of Understanding dated July
13, 1993 delineates an agreement reached concerning the effects of certain
classifications maintaining their Maintenance Department seniority dates; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is in the
best interest of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
that the Letter of Understanding dated July 13, 1993 between the Anaheim Municipal
Employees Association, General Unit, and the City of Anaheim, copies of which are
hereto attached and Incorporated by reference herein, Is approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this loth day of August, 1993.

and the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION
GENERAL UNIT
AFTER meeting and conferring on the effects of reasslgning certain
work from the Maintenance Department to the Stadium Department on or about
July 3, 1992 the parties have reached the following AGREEMENT.
This AGREEMENT applies to employees In the following job
classifications:
Lead Facility Maintenance Worker
Skilled Crafts Worker
FOR a period of twelve (12) months from July 3, 1992 to July 1, 1993,
the employees In the above Job classifications shall retain their
Maintenance Department seniority date(s) for purposes of lay-off and
reassignment In both the Maintenance Department and the Stadium
Department.
THEREAFTER, the employees In the job clasaificstlons listed above
assigned from the Maintenance Department to the Stadium Department on July
3, 1992 shall retain their Maintenance Department seniority as their
Stadium Department seniority date.
The Anaheim Municipal Employees Association and the City of Anaheim
retain the right to discuss this Issue In the future under the provisions
of the Discussion Article of the Memorandum of Understanding between the
parties.
