A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ADJUSTING
DEVELOPMENT FEES ESTABLISHED
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 17.30 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE (INTERIM
DEVELOPMENT FEES-ANAHEIM STADIUM
BUSINESS CENTER).
WHEREAS, Chapter 17.30 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
established certain fees imposed upon development within the
Anaheim Stadium Business Center; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the fees is to provide Anaheim
Stadium Business Center infrastructure, and the fees will be used
to finance street improvements and fire service in the area; and
WHEREAS, Section 17.30.060 of Chapter 17.30 authorizes
the City Council periodically to adjust the amounts of the fees
in accordance with the construction cost index for construction
costs in the Los Angeles area as published in the Engineering
News-Records Construction Cost Index ("ENR-CCI"); and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that since the
last update of Chapter 17.30 in 1992, the ENR-CCI has risen 1.3%
(as of April 1993) and, based thereon, the City Council desires
to increase the Chapter 17.30 fees accordingly;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. The fees set forth in the various subsections of
Section 17.30 of Chapter 17.30 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code shall, upon their effective date as set forth
below, be as follows:
17.30.020a. .$4.86/sq. ft.
17.30.020b. .$1.26/sq. ft.
17.30.020c. .$2.46/sq. ft.
2. The fees established herein shall become effective on
the sixtieth (60th) day following the date of this
Resolution, and shall thereafter supersede the
corresponding fees previously adopted by prior
resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this22ndday ,Tun~ ,
