A RESOLUTION OF THE C01 DEVELOPPI.ENT
COL`'il'•'IISSION, ACTING AS THE ANAHEIM REDEVEL-
OPI•lENT AGENCY, AUTHORIZING THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR AND THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR TO ACQUIRE REAL PROPERTY ON BE-
HALF OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPIIIENT AGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Agency is proceeding to implement Rede-
velopment Project Alpha by acquiring and assembling sites for
disposition to and development by proposed developers; and
WHEREAS, in order to acquire and assemble sites for
proposed development, it is necessary for the Agency to obtain
appraisals of the fair market value of properties comprising
proposed development sites, to establish just compensation for
such properties and to execute various legal instruments for the
acquisition thereof; and
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the day -to -day efforts
of the Agency staff in obtaining proposed developments in Rede-
velopment Project Alpha, it is desirable to authorize the Rede-
velopment Director and Executive Director to obtain appraisals
on properties which may be acquired by the Agency and to take
such steps as are necessary for the acquisition of sites for the
proposed developments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PESOLVE,D by the Community Devel-
opment Commission, acting as the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency,
as follows:
1. That the Community Development Director and the Execu-
tive Director be, and they are hereby, authorized to proceed with
the acquisition of real property located:
a. Within Redevelopment Project Alpha for rede-
velopment purposes generally.
b. Outside of Redevelopment Project Alpha for
the purpose of rehabilitation or development
of low and moderate income housing for per-
sons displaced by Redevelopment activities.
2. That the Redevelopment Director and the Executive
Director be, and they hereby, authorized to:
a. Retain the services of appraisers to appraise
properties to be acquired by the Agency pro-
vided, however, that the cost of such appraisal
shall not exceed $1,500.00 for any single par-
cel of record.
b. Approve, after thorough review and consultation
with appropriate staff members, all such apprai-
sals on behalf of the Agency.

C. Establish just compensation to be paid in the
acquisition of real property on the basis of
the aforesaid approved appraisals.
d. The amount established as just compensation
and the written statement of, and summary of
the basis for, the amount established as just
compensation shall be presented to the Commun-
ity Redevelopment Commission and Cie Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency for the purpose of inform-
ation only prior to the offer to purchase being
tendered to the owners. In the event the Ana-
heim Redevelopment Agency does not desire to
acquire said property, it shall so direct the
Community Develotpm.ent Director and the Executive
Director.
e. Accept and execute, on behalf of the Agency,
legal documents required in the acquisition
process provided, however, that the consider-
ation to be paid by the Agency shall not exceed
the amount of just compensation established in
the preceding Paragraph "C.
f. All real property acquisition shall be conduc-
ted in accordance with the provisions of the
California Relocation Assistance Act and other
applicable State laws.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of January 1976.
