94-012 RESOLUTION NO. 94R- 12
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA
JOINING THE ORANGE COUNTY REGIONAL
AIRPORT AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, the city of Anaheim has an important
responsibility to work on behalf of its citizens, to preserve and
protect their quality of life and to improve the economic
benefits to the City and its citizens and to work closely in
conjunction with other cities to try to preserve and protect the
quality of life; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Regional Airport Authority
(OCRAA) is a regional body of cities in Orange County dealing
with issues that affect the cities of Orange County in the
preservation and protection of the quality of life and the
improvement of the cities and the economic benefits to be derived
by its citizens including, but not limited to, the re-use of E1
Toro Marine Corps Air Station; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the city
to continue to work towards the resolution of the foregoing
issues through OCRAA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim
hereby joins OCRAA.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be forwarded to the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this $th day of
