A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATING CERTAIN
PERSONS TO ACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM IN APPLYING FOR AND OBTAINING
FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER P.L.
93-288 AS AMENDED BY THE ROBERT T.
STAFFORD DISASTER RELIEF AND EMERGENCY
ASSISTANCE ACT OF 1988 AND/OR STATE
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE NATURAL
DISASTER ASSISTANCE ACT.
WHEREAS, The City of Anaheim desires to make application to
the United States of America for certain federal financial assistance
under the P. L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster
Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988 and/or state financial
assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Act for Fires which
occurred commencing in October of 1993; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to designate certain
persons as agents of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of making
applications for financial assistance and providing information and
assurances to the State Office of Emergency Services and to the United
States of America.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the city of Anaheim, a
municipal corporation and public entity established under the laws of
the State of California, hereby designates the following persons as
its agents to apply for financial assistance and to provide to the
State Office of Emergency Services and the United of America such
assurances and agreements as may be required for all matters
pertaining to such state and federal disaster assistance:
George P. Ferrone, Finance Director
Edward P. Zacherl, Assistant Finance Director
Robert G. Berg, Emergency Services Coordinator
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any funds payable to the City
of Anaheim shall be forwarded with the City Treasurer.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the city of Anaheim this 25th day of January, 1994.

Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (16 U.S.C. 470), EO 11593 (identification and preservation of
historic properties), and lite Archaeological and Ilisloric P~eservatinn Act of 1974 (16 U.$,C. 469a.1 et
