94-148 RESOLUTION NO. 94R- 14 8 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 94R-51 WHICH ADJUSTED RATES OF COMPENSATION AND ESTABLISHED PAY POLICIES FOR CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS CONFIDENTIAL WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff reported dated June 21, 1994, that Resolution No. 94R-51 be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth, effective July 1, 1994; and WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 94R- 51 which adjusted rates of compensation and established pay policies for classifications designated as Confidential; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the aforementioned amendment is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Section 1 of Resolution 94R-51 be amended to read as follows: "Section 1. Employees in classifications listed in Section 2 of this Resolution shall be given additional vacation hours equivalent to $1000 rounded to the next highest whole hour. At their option, employees may receive $1000 cash in lieu of the vacation hours. If additional vacation hours result in an employee's exceeding his or her maximum accrual hours as stated under Personnel Rule 16, Vacation, he or she will receive $1000 cash rather than additional vacation hours. To be eligible, employees must be employed the first pay period in July 1994 (July 1, 1994 through July 14, 1994)." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this Resolution shall apply only to full-time employees in the Confidential Unit.
