A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN
AMENDMENT TO COOPERATION AGREEMENT NO. 66 FOR
RIGHT-OF-WAY AND PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITH THE
ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency is charged with implementing the
Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project Alpha; and
WHEREAS, Section 33445 of the Health and Safety Code authorizes the Agency to pay
all or a part of the value of the land for and the cost of the installation and construction of any building,
facility, structure, or other improvement which is publicly owned; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the agreement entitled Cooperation Agreement No. 66 for
Right-of-Way and Public Improvements has been prepared whereby the City of Anaheim will install certain
publicly-owned facilities and the Agency agrees to reimburse the City therefor; and
WHEREAS, the facilities to be installed by the City pursuant to Cooperation Agreement
No. 66 are hereby determined to be of benefit to the Project Area of Redevelopment Project Alpha and the
immediate neighborhood in which the Project Area is located; and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that no other reasonable means of fiuancing the
facilities are available to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the payment of funds for the cost of the facilities
will assist in the elimination of one or more blighting conditions inside the Project Area of Redevelopment
Project Alpha.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Cit'.e of Anaheim
that the temps and conditions of the Amendment to Cooperation Agreement No. 66 he, and they are hereby,
accepted and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby,
authorized and directed to execute the Amendment to Cooperation Agreement No. 66 on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council this
