97-196WHEREAS, the County of Orange Probation Department
proposes to enter into lease agreements for the purpose of
relocating and expanding the Youth and Family Resource Center
which provides educational and counseling services as well as
vocational guidance to youths from 1401 S. Anaheim Boulevard to
160, 306, 308 and 312 W. Cerritos Avenue in the City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25351 requires the
County to notify the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, in
writing, at least sixty days prior to entering into such lease
agreement, unless such notice is waived by resolution of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the County has requested that the City Council
waive such sixty -day notice requirement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the sixty -day notice required by
Government Code Section 25351 is hereby waived with respect to
the aforementioned lease agreement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 21st day of October
1997.
