A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, GENERAL UNIT
AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with officials and
employee representatives of the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the meetings, a Letter of Understanding dated December 1,
1994 delineates an agreement reached concerning the following:
1. The classifications of Senior Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector and Senior
electrical Inspector shall be deleted from Appendix "A" of the Memorandum of Understanding
effective the first day of the pay period following City Council approval;
2. Article 59.2 and Article 59.22 of the Memorandum of Understanding are amended
to allow the job classes of Building Inspector II, Building Inspector III, and Building Inspector
Supervisor certification pay upon certification by the International Conference of Building
Officials; and
WHEREAS, all remaining terms and conditions of employment shall be in accordance
with the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Anaheim Municipal
Employees Association, General Unit and the City of Anaheim; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that
the Letter of Understanding dated December 1, 1994, between the City of Anaheim and the
Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Unit, as set forth in the document attached
hereto and incorporated by reference herein, be and the same is hereby, approved and that the
effective date of such Letter of Understanding shall be December 1, 1994.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 13th day of December, 1994.
