A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CONFI~MING THE
WRITTEN REPORT OF THE FIRE CHIEF
REGARDING THE COST OF WEED ABATEMENT,
AND DIRECTfNG THE FILING THEREOF WITH
THE COUNTY OF ORANGE.
WHEREAS, the Fire c~%ief of the City of Anaheim filed
his report regarding the cost of weed abatement incurred during
the 1993/94 fiscal year in the o~fice of the City Clerk,
indicating the cost of removing weeds, rank growth, rubbish and
refuse as heretofore ordered by resolution of the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, the city Council, having reviewed said Weed
Report, found ~]o objection thereto by property owners liable to
be assessed thereunder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESO~VEO by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the repurt of said Fire Chief be, and
the same is hereby confirmed, and that the individual costs as
set [orth ~n sa~d report a~e determined to be the correct and
proper costs.
BE [T RESOLVE[) that ~[1 sums for the cost of removal of
such weeds, rubbish and refuse not paid on or before the 1st of
July 1994, are hereby declared to be a lien upon the property
from which removed to be collected wi~h the 'taxes of said
property.
BE IT EURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy
of this resolution together wLth a certified copy of the report
of ~he Fire Chisel, on fLle in th~ office of the City Clerk, as
herein confirmed with the? County Auditor of the Cou~lty of Orange,
on or before August 10, 1994~ req,~esting and authorizing said
County Auditor, so that the same may be added to the next regular
tax bill levied against each ot said parcels for municipal
purposes.
