A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL VACATION HOURS FOR
ALL EMPLOYEES IN THE EXECUTIVE, ADMINISTRATIVE, MIDDLE
MANAGEMENT, SUPERVISORY AND PROFESSIONAL GROUPS
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated June 14, 1994 that employees be given additional vacation hours equivalent to
$1000 as hereinafter set forth, effective July 1, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the
aforementioned additional vacation is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim as follows:
That, all employees in the Executive, Administrative, Middle Management,
Supervisory and Professional Groups be given additional vacation hours equivalent to $1000
rounded to the next highest whole hour, effective July 1, 1994. At their option, employees
may receive $1000 cash in lieu of the vacation hours. If the additional vacation hours result
in an employee's exceeding his or her maximum accrual hours as stated under Personnel
Rule 16, Vacation, he or she will receive $1000 cash rather than additional vacation hours.
To be eligible, employees must be employed the first pay period in July 1994 (July 1, 1994
through July 14, 1994).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this Resolution shall
apply only to full-time employees in the Executive, Administrative, Middle Management,
Supervisory and Professional Groups.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution shall
be July 1, 1994.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
