6053ORDINANCE NO. 6053 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING (RECLASSIFICATION NO. 2006-00191). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, following a duly noticed public hearing held on January 22, 2007, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 18.60 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, the Anaheim Planning Commission did adopt its Resolution No. PC2007-11 determining that a change or changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made to reclassify the subject property, as described below, into the RM -4 (Multiple -Family Residential) Zone; and WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested that the City finalize reclassification of the subject property from the C -G (General Commercial) Zone to the RM -4 (Multiple -Family Residential) Zone of the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, certain terms and conditions were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by rezoning and reclassifying the subject property situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: PARCEL 1: THAT PORTION OF LOT 4 OF ANAHEIM EXTENSION, AS SHOWN ON A MAP OF SURVEY BY WILLIAM HAMEL, A COPY OF WHICH IS SHOWN IN BOOK 3, PAGES 162 TO 164 INCLUSIVE OF "LOS ANGELES COUNTY MAPS" IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE CENTER LINE OF CENTER STREET, AS SHOWN ON SAID MAP, DISTANT NORTH 74° 37' 25" EAST 520.13 FEET FROM THE INTERSECTION OF SAID CENTER LINE WITH THE CENTER LINE OF EAST STREET, AS SHOWN ON SAID MAP, SAID POINT BEING THE SOUTHEASTERLY CORNER OF LAND DESCRIBED IN A DEED TO COMET, INC., RECORDED MAY 14, 1954 IN BOOK 2728, PAGE 196 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS; THENCE NORTH 74° 37' 25" EAST ALONG SAID CENTER LINE OF CENTER STREET, 250.00 FEET; THENCE NORTH 15° 24' 15" WEST, PARALLEL WITH SAID CENTER LINE OF EAST STREET, 480.00 FEET TO THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF THE LAND DESCRIBED IN A DEED TO ZION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH OF ANAHEIM, RECORDED JUNE 30, 1961 IN BOOK 5770, PAGE 813 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS; THENCE SOUTH 74° 37' 25" WEST ALONG SAID SOUTHERLY LINE OF THE LAND OF ZION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 250.00 FEET TO THE NORTHERLY PROLONGATION OF SAID EASTERLY LINE OF THE LAND OF COMET, INC.; THENCE SOUTH 150 24' 15" EAST ALONG SAID PROLONGATION AND SAID EASTERLY LINE, 480.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. EXCEPTING THEREFROM, THAT PORTION WITHIN PARCEL L into the RM -4 (Multiple -Family Residential) Zone of the City of Anaheim. SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended and the above- described property shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning Department is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3.
