A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DEDICATING CERTAIN CITY-OWNED
PROPERTY FOR USE AS A PUBLIC STREET AND
ACCEPTING SAID PROPERTY INTO THE PUBLIC
STREET SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner, in fee title
of certain property located generally at the southwest corner of
Disney Way (formerly Freedman Way) and Freedman Way (formerly
Clementine Street; and,
WHEREAS, Freedman Way (formerly Clementine Street) is a
street having a half-width of from thirty-two to thirty-seven
feet where said street abuts the property of the City of Anaheim;
and,
WHEREAS, the General Plan of the City of Anaheim
including the Circulation Element of the General Plan
contemplates Freedman Way to be widened by an additional eleven
and one-half feet on the westerly side in the portion of Freedman
Way abutting the City-owned property; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim and the public generally to widen Freedman Way to the
dimensions and capacity shown on the General Plan.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does hereby dedicate that certain City-owned property described
in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated by this reference
herein for public road and utility purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the
City of Anaheim does hereby accept said property described in
Exhibit A into the public street system.
