2000-069RESOLUTION NO. 2000R- 69 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 372, EXHIBIT "A." WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, on the 13th day of March, 2000, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for the area of land consisting of a rectangularly-shaped 0.79-acre property having a frontage of 130 feet on the east side of Euclid Street, a maximum depth of 264 feet and being located 548 feet north of the centerline of Ball Road, and further described as 910 South Euclid Avenue; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning ~ommission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC2000-29 containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General Plan designated as Amendment No. 372 be adopted by the City Council changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to "General Commercial" in accordance with Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 18th day of April, 2000, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed Amendment No. 372 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that Amendment No. 372 changing the land use designation in the aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 372 to the General Plan changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to "General Commercial" in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City be, and the same is hereby, approved.
