97-195WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim (the "City has been designated by the Governor of the State
of California as a Service Delivery Area (an "SDA under the Job Training Partnership Act (the
"JTPA and
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded certain funds by the State of California through the
Employment Development Department for the purpose of building local One -Stop Career Center
System Technology Capacity; and
WHEREAS, the State of California requires the City's approval of a standard subgrant
agreement in order for the City to be eligible to receive these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval of Master Subgrant Agreement. That certain Standard Agreement
No. M800407 One -Stop (the "Subgrant Agreement which (i) is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein by reference and (ii) allocates funds in the amount of One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) to the City of Anaheim, is hereby approved.
Section 2. City Manager Authorization. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
the Subgrant Agreement, modifications thereto and documents implementing the Subgrant
Agreement on behalf of the City.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION IS PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THIS 21st DAY
